Garnet in Winter

This painting of Garnet, Montana depicts the wonderful old gold town nestled in the mountains

just east of Missoula. It is painted on an old wooden box which was used, two to a horse,

in the early days of horse packing trips. The size is about end table high and the top opens

to provide lots of storage capacity. This piece is very unique since old pannier boxes are

now difficult to find. Acrylic on wood.
