Original, colorful Folk Art is brought to life on furniture, canvas and accent pieces

Welcome to "ArtMaxine" where Folk Art is re-introduced as an innovative, expressive, eclectic art form reflecting this artist's passion for making the ordinary extraordinary.  Mainstream American life is uniquely portrayed on functional pieces of furniture as well as flat wall hangings to beautifully grace any location at home or workplace.

Indian Ceremony,” affectionately dedicated to Maxine’s beloved husband Paul, was specially created upon request for the 2008 Missoula Symphony gala auction fundraiser. The mystical spirit of the Indian prayer and reverence of nature radiate out in a vibrant splash of earthy color enhanced by the exquisite curves of the violin.
